Peanut paste is made from dry and roasted peanuts. It can be easily made at home using a food processor. All that needs to be done is place peanuts in a food processor and let it run for nearly 4 to 5 minutes. During this time, the peanuts go through a series of changes from crumbs to dry balls to finally a smooth and creamy “liquid” peanut paste. At first, the mix looks impossibly crumbly and dry at the bottom of your food processor, but as the blender goes on for a little longer it starts turning into a thick mustard-colored paste called as peanut paste.
